This is great news. It will be interesting to see what load(s) they choose.
BTW, they sell a 77gr BTHP 5.56 load for $.55 a round. I haven't tried it yet.

I hope it is better than what I witnessed I guy at the range go through with a box of their 6.5 creedmore ammo. He was sighting in a Tikka and was very frustrated with a 4 group. He kept saying the the rifle was supposed to be sub moa. Switched over to a box of nolser and shot a 3 shot group that was clover leafed.

Normally no, but we have all seen hit and miss with factory ammo. I'll reserve opinion until I shoot some from my rifle.

I'm not seeing 6.5 Creedmore as one of the calibers AAC offers. Are we talking about the new AAC or are we talking about the old AAC before they was sold to PSA a couple years ago?

Initial batches of 5.56/223 suffered from some dinged cases in packaging and shipping. Recent lots are proving to be better than earlier lots. This is all being produced under PSA Corporate businesses with some bullets being bought from other companies like Sierra, Hornady and Barnes. Recent lots are producing more consistent accuracy in 5.56/223. Supposedly AAC is manufacturing their own brass and primers. I havent seen any reports on brass quality but any additional 6.5 Grendel on the market is a bonus for those that dont reload. Production of 6 ARC is scheduled for first quarter of 2024.

I don't see it as bad or good. It is a sample of 1. I know for a fact that there are some loads my rifle absolutely hates and some it loves. Same rifle, radically different results.
People often forget that there is a harmony that must exist between the rifle (all all the attributes, barrel, chamber, twist, bedding/floating, etc.), the ammo and its attributes (bullet type, weight, charge, burn rate, etc.), and the shooter.
I have seen the argument work both ways. There are those who thing a rifle is bad if it won't shoot X ammo.
The rifle or ammo may be bad, but just because a particular rifle doesn't like particular ammo doesn't support that either one is bad. They may just be mismatched.
Consider all the folks would think factory Hornady SST ammo is garbage because it doesn't group well with their particular rifle.

Great news! 65G in September and 6ARC in Q1 2024.
And, thanks, Happy2Shoot, for including a link to your source material. I'd say some posts from "the horse's mouth" are much better than the typical rumor.
Edit: BTW, I think but I could be wrong that the ammo maker AAC is America's Ammunition Company as is printed on their packaging, as opposed to the silencer AAC Advanced Armament Company.

JJE Capital (Owners of PSA) bought Advanced Armament Co. after the Bankruptcy of Remington and its subsidiaries. Jamin talked about this on a video at Shot Show and chose to use American Ammunition Co name since it used the AAC initials. Jamin said his goal was to sell ammunition and components to the citizens of the US so there would always be a supply in support of the second amendment. Jamin said Government can issue contracts large enough to limit ammo availability to the average citizen. Jamin said his company would not fill government contracts for ammunition. Some of the tooling from Advanced Armament Co. is being used to produce the current production PSA/AAC ammunition.

I can tell you that I'm not really impressed with Hornady Black 123 ELD or 123 SST. 2 inch groups at best through 4 different barrels / rifles !

Pretty sure this is AAC black tip, not Hornady Black.

Well the original date was June so even if they manage to release this month, they still would be 3 months behind what they originally planned.
And yea, I don't believe their release dates when it comes to the PSA branded guns. I mean how many years was the Dagger behind schedule?

I bought some AAC 75 grain black tips in 5.56. I have them but I have yet to shoot one. Watched some ballistic test videos on that bullet and they seemed to perform as expected. Advertised as a personal defense bullet I do believe. I will buy some when they come out in the Grendel.
