Badger Ordnance Tactical Charging Handle Latch AR-15, question - foxhunter - 05-14-2023
bought one of these and when i installed it i could no longer get the latch to catch, the carrier would not go to battery and you could not close and latch the lower to the upper. i have had the same catch on other rifles and they work fine. the only thing i could find different about the catch was it was .123 thick as compared to .118 for the stock latch.
any thoughts?

Look on the aluminum of the upper to see where any interference might be. Should be shiny or at least see where the chg handle would impact. Assuming it will move smoothly back and forth through the upper without bcg and lower (that would verify that thickness is ok). I did have a diff vendor chg handle that wouldn't lock closed for my M5 I'm building, I wanted that charger so found the spots where it was rubbing and dremeled out some of the chg handle underside so it would clear the upper ok. Think first before you grind however, you won't get any of that ground out chg handle back!
