The first upgrade we recommend for your AR15 is the trigger. Its the number one, easiest, and instant improvement to your personal accuracy skills. Think of shooting a basketball free throw with a normal basketball thats like having a trigger the way it should be. Now think of shooting a free-throw with a bowling ball thats your average cheapo mil-spec gritty, draggy, mushy trigger that comes with typical AR15 lowers or lower parts kits. Why make it harder?
Our Schmid two-stage trigger is your entry-level upgrade to an improved trigger experience. It is not THE best after-market trigger out there, but for our fantastic price it will get you 96% of the way there, and after that youre just splitting hairs and pulling out $100 bills.
The two stages of this trigger consist of an initial 2 lb pull that brings you to a wall, where the hammer and trigger are set to break for the shot. After that its only a 2.5 lb pull to fire, helping to make accurate shots with short resets in between. The two stages together have a 4.5 lb total pull weight. Trigger has a classy titanium gray color due to its durable nickel boron finish, which also helps its smoothness.
