I picked up 300 Nosler 6.5mm 90gr Varmegeddons at SPS in Bend a few years ago as blems at $19/100. I wish I had cleaned them out! My 20" loves them with CCI450s and 31.0gr of H335. I've been watching for them ever since but have never seen them in stock anywhere (at least anywhere that's not a scam).
Has anyone seen them other than as loaded ammo? I'm just wondering if I'm looking for a bag of unicorns.

Bullets are like hens teeth. You might add Speer 90 grain TNT bullets to your search list. 30.5 Gr H335 works for me.

I emailed Nosler. I told them that some of the Horde has been looking. I'll let you know what they say.
Seems like primers are becoming available. I saw a stack of bricks of 450s at the Cabela's in Saginaw. $100/brick :eek:

I got an email from Midway a couple days ago that said the varmegeddons were no longer available. Dont know if this means midway no longer carrys them or if nosler put them on long term hold.

.264 flat base bullets are few to begin with and they are never in stock it seems. On top of that none of them are short-range match bullets.

I sent my message on 1/11. I immediately got an automated response that they received it. Nothing since. I guess it might be time to shoot up what I have while looking for another bullet.

Im pretty much just sitting on Grendel hunting bullets, after working up a load. Still have probably 5K 100 grn Custom Comps that I need start working on again. Could never get them to fly out of anything, have a bunch of new powders now though. Hard to beat 223/5.556 just for making noise!
FWIW: there are a bunch of 95 Vmax for sale! Not the cheapest Ive ever seen them but, similar bullet for what your looking for.
