Looking for Newest Sierra data - BluteEhre - 11-09-2022
I know its not the place, but Im not on other forums. Just wondering if anyone can share the sierra data for 9mm Luger that covers the 125gr V-crown bullet. My slightly older manual lists a different 125gr pill and trying to sort out from other guides is giving me a confusing mess of info. Tried a few loads that I knew would be safe and accuracy is junk. Thanks for any help.

I havent shot the new bullet but many years ago a Friend and I got top accuracy with Unique powder, Winchester primers with mixed brand brass cases. We mostly shot 115 grain Sierra JHP but the few 124 grain Sierra JHP were just as accurate in a Glock 17, Sig P226 and S&W 5904.
The data from Alliant I found recommended 5.2 - 5.8 grains of Unique with a 124 grain Gold Dot HP. We used to load hotter than that with Unique in 9 MM but were listed safe at that time. Today I mostly use TiteGroup or Accurate # 2 for my pistol cartridges, 380, 9 mm, 40, 45, 38 Special. Ive gotten good accuracy with both powders but I only load 115 grain bullets in 9 mm.
My Friend usually gets the Sierra updates and next time I see him Ill check his most current data.

just looked, the part number in the app is listed as 124gr
its a bit difficult to post from sierra app because of the slide bar
but its cheap enough, and worth grabbing

I was able to track down a screenshot of the app with some data, but was wondering if the newest manual actually listed a powder I have. For some reason it appears(according to the app) that Sierra didnt provide data for some powder they previously had for this weight range124-125. I have 3N37,cfe pistol,hs6,AA#7 and Longshot. Kinda shocked they wouldnt have included those first three. Sierra part number is 9925 for this stubby jhp.
