hey guys, its not on topic but i dont know of a better place to find the most bestus smartest information filled place to find help ,,,,,barr none. i am looking for a scope mount base for a ROSSI lever action .410 shotgun model RG410B whiched is the blued version of a RG410ss which i assume was the stainless steel version. i need a part number of the scope mount,,,,,help please

As long as the top of the Rossi receiver is drilled and tapped you should be able to mount a weaver mount directly to the top of the receiver. If the holes dont line up with the tapped screws just drill holes where you need them in the weaver mount. If the mount is a little long cut it to length and use black anodize to cover where you made your cut. There are generic Weaver mounts and Ive seen gunsmiths do this many times. Here is a link to Weaver but Amazon or about a any gun shop should have a Weaver rail.

Can't help you on the parts # but I did find an NRA article that gives this little tidbit of info. This might help you find a mount that you can adapt.

Supposedly the RG takes the same bases as the Marlin 336.
1- I can't confirm that as I don't have an RG.
2- I can't confirm that an RG3030 receiver is identical to an RG410.
All else fails, call 'em. They are supposed to ship with an included base. They would probably ship you one for little to no cost depending on the mood of who you talk to.
