I bought this barreled action and walnut stock from Brownells. Its the heavy barrel version. The rifle, Talley rings and scope come in at 7 1/2 lbs. I got the scope in a trade last year and its in like new condition.
The stock has NOT been finished. It has a lot of figure and should turn out beautifully.

I am planning to replace the barrel with a 308 12 twist barrel (X-CALIBER) that came in today and chamber for 30 BRX. Ive already have another Howa Mini in an MDT Oryx chambered in 6BRX. It shoots incredibly. I do machine the bolt counterbore for the 6BR case.
