6.5G Nebraska Newbie - PharmerJon - 12-29-2021
Hi from Grand Island, NE.
Got ahold of a 6.5G barrel/bolt off a guy on this forum so now Im jumping all in!
Been doing the AR wildcat thing for awhile but was always with 5.56 parent case (20 practical, 6x45).
I know its not a great time to start a new endeavor but what the heck. Im bored.
Found some Hornady Black at the local pawn shop; the only place I found anything 6.5G related locally! Thankfully Hornady is right here in Grand Island so I am going to have to harass some buddies who work there for some components. Im sure they never get tired of such harassment.
Hope to glean some good info from you all and praying for the component shortage to end soon.

Welcome to the clan, PJ, from the great nation of Texas! There's never a bad time to get Grendalized, but some are more convenient than others. And, certainly having Hornady in your back yard is a real plus. Ammo is slowly becoming "less scarce" but still a hit and miss thing. Tell us of your goals and your grocery list.

Welcome sir. You made an excellent choice. The 6.5 Grendel is the most performance in all catagories that you can get, in a small frame AR15. I think you'll be very happy.
