Has anyone here had any experience with the BCM MK2 upper receiver?

From what I saw on BCM's website, the only way to get a MK2 upper is to buy a complete upper assembly. But you can't do that either 'cause they don't have any MK2 upper assemblies in stock.

In theory, BCM does/will offer them as a standalone item. For example, Brownell's lists it though without actually having any to sell:

So who knows how many months or years it'll be before we see them in stock anywhere.
