My second 6.5G build on a budget! - triggerman43 - 03-03-2021
Ive built numerous AR15 in my life, but this is only my 2nd 6.5G. I started with an Anderson stripped upper and lower, added a Dirty Bird 2 stage trigger(lightly stoned), a Luth-AR stock and grip, Bear Creek Arsenal 18 stainless steel heavy barrel and 6.5G BCG (both cryogenic processed), BCA 15 M-lok handguard, Sightmark 5-30x56 Citadel FFP, MRAD, scope, and temporary, but effective 50 BMG style brake(while waiting for a more effective and appropriate muzzle brake design). Im actually very impressed with how well it performed with factory Hornady Black during break in, but am extremely anxious to get both a match and hunting hand load tuned for this rifle. Due to ammo shortages, Ive only been shooting 3 shot groups, with the average being about .6 MOA with the Hornady Black. Im looking forward to the experience and expertise of this group, to help get the best possible results from my hand loads. Looks nice and it sounds like it shoots very well. I like Luther stocks and have them on two rifles.
