Log: Got the action back from smith, a 22" cut down to 18.5" and i had previously had 3oz removed from action/bolt so here's actual weights now except the stock/hinged floor plate where the weights were given by Dinny for the stock and Oregun for the bottom metal.
53 oz barreled action 18.5" barrel - slabbed/fluted action/bolt (3 lb 5 oz) confirmed 3 lb 4.5 oz without action screws (jan 6)
18 oz pendelton stock (ordering today)
3.5 oz oregun hinged floor bottom metal kit (ordering today with stock)
= 74.5 oz or 4.65 lbs bare rifle
2.0 oz talley 1" low rings
9.75 oz leupold fxII 4x33 with 33mm alumina flip cap on objective
= grand total scoped rifle at 86.25 oz or 5.4 lbs
i know 5 rounds ammo is 3 oz, so a 9 round shell holder with 9 rounds should be about 6 oz, and my 1" slings are 2.5 oz, that would put it going down the trail with 9 rounds and sling at 94.75 oz or 5.92 lbs...not bad, and should be just under 36 long oal.
It may take awhile to get the stock/parts imported to Canada but the process is started. Will drag this up from the dead when i have more info.

Look forward to seeing it. I didnt touch the barreled action on my 20 inch lightweight mini and it comes in at 5.56 lbs all set up with a Pendleton stock, DIP bottom metal, and vx2 scope.

A buddy of mine has one very similar, just in a different color. I'm not sure if you have to but we had to send our barreled actions into Wayne to have the stocks made.

Wayne is building them now for a drop in fit. I still glassed mine although it doesn't seem it did anything for accuracy. It shoots just the same now due to the loose nut behind the trigger.
