Hopefully this one is here forever---great place! Forgive the low post count.... I purchased in 2009 a Hunter upper. I added a JP/VTAC rifle length forearm to it and have only shot it about 140 rounds. I decided to build a 16" Grendel and took the upper apart. I am posting for sale the barrel, bolt, gas block which has 2 pins, and gas tube. The muzzle is not threaded. Color is black. Rifle length gas system. As depicted in the pictures the bolt, barrel, and picatinny gas block were all from AA. It has also been thoroughly cleaned after each range trip, which has been about 4 times. This barrel did have the triangle handguard cap and handguards but that was removed when I installed the JP/VTAC and has never been fired rapidly or had pressure put on the barrel from anything other than gravity. I took care of this weapon but now I want to build something slightly shorter for hunting as a 19.5" barreled gun will be unwieldy in my area, and I will order a forum barrel and bolt if they're still around anytime after this hopefully sells, hopefully.... I ran some Sierra 107s, Hornady Amax 123s, and some Wolf. The Wolf printed worst at about 1.25" at 100yds for 5 shots. I'm certain someone could coax more accuracy from this weapon than I could. No reloaded rounds have been shot from this gun. $325 shipped CONUS. Response of "I'll take it" and sending me an IM for payment instructions. I do know it to be a barrel from a Hunter upper from communicating with AA. It is stamped on the left side as Alex A-6.5 Gren and the rest of the specifications match including rifle length gas system, picatinny gas block with 2 pins. I do not have the handguard cap any longer as I sold those parts when installing the JP/VTAC. According to the specifications of the hunter upper on alexander arms it is a hunter upper without a threaded muzzle. I'm not sure why AA didn't thread this upper, but everything I have here tells me it would be stainless barrel finished in black. The reason I'm keeping the upper receiver is because I'm refinishing it in cerakote sniper grey for a minor contrast to the forearm and simply due to the self lubricating properties of cerakote. I will be putting a 16" barrel and bolt combo into this gun if/when this sells. Thanks for looking and God bless. One thing to note---the sling swivel was removed from the gas block and the block refinished. I forgot about it and after looking at the picture of the Hunter upper I should note that this does not have a sling swivel on the gas block.
