Hello all! Im new to the forum and new to the Grendel/AR platform for hunting. Last summer I built a 20 Grendel. I used it last week to harvest my first buck with an AR. So far Ive only put about 50 rounds down the pipe and I really enjoy it! Ive only shot factory Hornady ammo so far and look forward to loading up some of my own. I bought volume 2 or the Grendel reloading book, thats where I came across this forum. Lots of great info in the book and on this forum!

Not much of a story haha. 8pt buck about a 75 yd shot DRT. Used factory 123 sst bullet put a fist size hole going in and blew into four pieces with no exit. Now Im looking into trying some ttsx or something similar in some hand loads that will be more meat friendly. For the most part were limited to one deer per year in here in mn and I like my venison too much to waste any haha.
