More 12" Monster barrel range results - PA_Allen - 10-31-2020
I just got a new Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x40 CDS-ZL and mounted it to my recently built upper using the latest 12" Monster barrel. I took it out for a quick test run yesterday to zero the new scope at 100 yds and check zeros at 200 and 300 yds. I was shooting 100 gr NBT over 30.0 gr of 8208 which gets 2425 fps out of the 12" barrel with my TBAC CB9 suppressor. All groups were fired from prone from the back of my truck. This little rifle continues to impress. With this 100 NBT load it has consistently grouped between 0.5-0.75 MOA out to 300 yds (as far as I've taken it). Also the MOA drop corrections and scope tracking were dead on for 200 and 300 yds after getting a solid 100 yd zero.

Love the 12 length as well. Is that a .30 cal TBAC and are you using any kind of adjustable gas?
The Bootleg Adjustable Gas Carrier really helped mine when suppressed.

Yes its actually an .30 cal 30BA converted to the CB system. I have an Ultra 7 in jail right now that will be the main suppressor for this rifle.
I am running a bootleg carrier in suppressed setting. I decided to try one largely based on your endorsement and I really like it. The rifle is very smooth shooting suppressed with both standard carbine buffer or with a H2 buffer.

12" Grendel.. The little engine that could. I find myself carrying it more and more, over the 16" 223 carbine. I just wish I had as many high cap grendel mags as I do 223 mags.

Wish I could get mine to shoot. Mine hates CFE223 and Hornady bullets. Pretty much giving up at this time. Hate spending all the primers and powder at this time.

Yup! 12" G is my primary vehicle weapon with 3 24rd Elanders and extra ammo in the back
