The consensus is that Lok-Cease 20/20 (Thread-Smart) is good to use at the muzzle end as an anti-seize agent. Anyone ever use it for barrel nut installation other than using AeroShell 33MS? The Lok-Cease 20/20 temp rating is -10°F - 2,300°F; and is food-safe rated.

Lithium grease works as an anti sieze for what you're talking about.
I use WD40 Specialist White Lithium Grease in a spray can.
