Welcome to the forum grendelnewby! If you go to the post with the item for sale click on the sellers username, a drop down menu appears then click on private message. I use an iPad for this forum and this is the procedure for me. I think sending the message is the same using different browsers and you should get a notification if the persons mailbox is full.
