12" Monster 6.5 Grendel SBR - Alpine2k3 - 08-06-2020
My attempt to make a decent gun that's handy in any situation. I built the upper today as soon as I got the barrel in. I borrowed my 11.5" SBR's lower for the picture since the other one is in NFA jail.
The parts list for the upper:
Sionics Upper Receiver
Sig Sauer ambi charging handle
6.5 type II bolt and bolt carrier
KAC RAS II free float rail
Monster 12" barrel
R Guns set screw FSB
.308 A2 type flash hider
I plan on getting a prismatic optic whenever I make up my mind on which one to get.

Cool. But how did you get an A2 front sight on it? My gas block journals are 1.3" and an A2 requires, I believe, 1.9".

3 of the 5 set screws on the gas block are holding it in place. Still seems pretty sturdy enough to not move around.

My ACOG corresponds pretty well for my Grendel 12.5 pistol. Zero 200 with Hornady Blk. Try your info in Strelok with a TA11F.
