Heard a rumor Lancer is working on a hybrid 6mm arc/ grendel mag.
Anybody else heard are seen anything about this?

I was in the shop for TangoDown about a month back. They also had some ARC ammo and were tasked with designing a new mag/follower. I offered him up a Grendel mag too if he wanted to piggyback the project.
I have one of their 223 mags and have never had a problem with it.

I sent an email to Lancer requesting they manufacture AR-15 pattern magazines for the 6.5 Grendel/6 ARC. Curious what they have to say. They get a reliable high capacity polymer 6.5 G/6 ARC mag theyll sell a boat load.

Agreed. I sent a email as well but haven't heard back yet, Sunday and all.
This you can bet your butt on if Lancer was to bring out their hybrid mag design in grendel/arc. It wouldn't be six months before magpul would release a grendel/arc mag.

I sure hope this is true. These mags should be the perfect combination of weight and toughness for the ARC/Grendel case. If they can leave some small margin for longer seated OAL, even better.

Precision Reflex Industries (PRI) manufacture a 6.8 SPC magazine that get good reviews. A couple of forum members have used the 6.8 mag in the 6.5 Grendel without issue. I sent an email to PRI suggesting they introduce a magazine for the 6.5 Grendel/6 ARC. PRI advertise their 6.8 SPC magazine also functions with the 224 Valkyrie and 22 Nosler. PRI magazines are pricey but apparently good quality.

I've been asking them for the past 5 SHOT Shows to make a Grendel mag.
50,000 units seems to be what it will take to get them interested.

I got an Email from them July 27 saying they didn't have any plans now. If they did they would put it on their social media outlets
