Just saw on the amend 2 page that grendel mags will be released in a couple weeks.

"Grendel Mags: We know it’s been a long time coming, but all components of the Grendel mag have been approved for full production. Manufacturing is set to begin in the next 2-3 weeks.

We will be running pre-order specials for our supporters that have been following this project for the past two years. We appreciate your patience as we’ve worked through what seems like endless tweaks and changes. Keep your eyes on our pages and website for additional info in the coming week about pre-order launch"

If you go to Opticsplanet's sight and do a search for Amend2 6.5 Grendel magazines, they appear and are for sale. BUT..........................when you click "Check Product availability", it states, "ships in 6 to 10 months". I think this is a perpetual statement on it's availability just about anywhere. :confused:

Don’t bother with OP, I ordered a part from them earlier this year cause no one else showed it in stock, didn’t see the ‘7-8 week’ delivery date, but I waited 6 weeks, and that date just kept getting pushed back, til everyone else got it back in stock while OP still showed it over a month away. That’s not my first bad experience with OP but it’s my last.

I heard they don't update their web presence as much as they should. I bought a couple things over the years from OP and didn't experience anything bad other than receiving the product in my mailbox then getting an email a day later stating it had shipped.

There is a big part of me that would like to sign up for pre-orders of their Grendel mags but I can't help feeling I am being fitted with a bridle to be led to their vaporware again.

I’ve had four of them on back order from Optics Planet for several months now.I’m glad Optics Planet doesn’t take your money until the product actually ships. Because I may not receive these mags for a long time, if ever.lol!

Well, the 2-3 weeks until production starts has come and passed.

Here is the latest from their FB page (posted last night)
