Just for Fun: NEW Starline Nickeled Brass - BluntForceTrauma - 04-22-2020
I don't really expect nickel-plated brass to do anything for me that regular brass doesn't, but I thought this new Starline nickel-plated 6.5 Grendel brass was nice and shiny and silver and oh-so-cool.
So I bought some.
For the technically-minded, the factory unloaded case necks measured on average, and near as I could figure sampling 10 of the 100 from 0.2873 to a max of 0.2880. Small Rifle primer pockets measured the same as my Lapua brass: 0.173. Average case length of the majority is 1.5110.
There were plenty of variations in concentricity ranging from very slight to noticeable dings in the case mouth. Pretty sure these will iron out when I seat bullets, however.

i thought about buying some just cause the nickle is easier to spot on the ground were i shoot , just save them for all my target loads were im shooting on the farm

Spiffy, and i like the idea of spotting them at the range in contrast with all of the brass.
