Great shot. That rascal had the afterburner on. He's probably in the 40fps range, and the time of flight at 160yds/2800fps would be about .2 sec.( or 1/5 sec.) So he done traveled around 8 feet after the trigger is pulled. Maybe a bit more since the bullet slows down during that time. Does that sound about right? The guys at TAMU say hogs can hit 30 mph bursts when the adrenaline kicks in,,I think they may be right. Thanks again for the videos.Now,, what am I gonna watch the rest of the day, and tonight???

I believe the 2nd shot definitely would have gone through the liver. The shot entered at the bottom of the rib cage and exited a few ribs into the rib cage. I don't believe it crossed far enough forward to make the diaphragm, but I did not check.

Always interesting video's DNS, much appreciated.
Thoughts on the second video where the impact was further back than expected. We did a lot of moving target shooting in the military with motorised targets on rails. The two methods advocated a the time was the 'ambush' technique and the 'tracking' technique. Both work and it was all down to personal preference and consistency (and practise). Having a bipod which swiveled smoothly was also critical and so the tripod from the HK PSG1 was used for other types of rifles due to its super-smooth tracking.
Having watched a lot of your videos I see you use 'tracking' but on this occasion the slow motion at the end of the video shows you stop tracking at the moment you take the shot ('ambush').

Klem, a buddy of mine likes to dissect my videos and has commented numerous times in the past that I have a bizarre habit of making corrections at the last fraction of a second, usually an increase or reduction of the lead. I can't argue with his analysis, but I don't consciously do it and don't always realize that I have done it. It seems to be a productive correction more times than not.
Having a rest for shooting anything over about 60 yards is necessary for me, in my case, a tripod.
