Having a hard time being able to choose every part - borderman - 03-01-2020
I am awaiting delivery on a pre-built Grendel upper from Palmetto State Armory. Next I would like to build a 300 Blackout upper using all parts selected by me. With the possible exception of choosing a barrel I am having a tough time with this. The vendors I have seen when researching the Grendel do not seem to give these choices. I guess what I would like is a type of parts warehouse where the manufacturer of every part is very clear.
This site has gotten me interested in more than my H-Bar 223. The PSA purchase may be a good start but I would like more.
I have the time, tools and finances - what is missing is the choice of each part. Doing the research should be part of the enjoyment but not there just yet.
Any suggested vendors would be very welcome.

Look at Joebob's, they have a ton of parts and good prices, fast shipping. Primary arms also a good place.
Frankly, Midwayusa also has lots of pieces, and good shipping.
ArmorAlly, for barrels especially but other things also.
Aside from the barrel, my first stop is almost always joebob.

Optics planet is another one where shipping is free when you spend over $49.If you call them up and ask them for a 10% code they will usually give it to you.

I have built from scratch 2 complete Grendels, a 10.5 inch barreled 5.56 pistol and a Grendel pistol almost completed with parts from Brownells,Wilson Combat, Aero Precision, Bravo company and Battle Arms Development. Some parts I have bought directly from the manufacturers and the rest from Brownells. All of them have GREAT customer service.

are you wanting to pick the parts and have it built? or build it yourself?
the grendel parts are the same as other calibers except for the bolt and barrel and magazine
