I see it’s slightly slower than TAC on the burn chart but, being extruded I’m sure it struggles with load density with heavier bullets.
I’ve got a ship load of it on hand, will it work with the 90-100 grn range of bullets? I’m sure it’s not the optimum powder for that range but, as long as it’s not the worst either, I can probably live with it.
If not that weight range, what range is optimum?

H4895 is a very versatile powder. I’ve used it in different calibers w/different weight bullets.I’d use it with 123 grain bullet.

I use it with the 129 ablr at 2.300 coal and can get 29 grains in if I vibra settle it. It's still compressed but doesn't seem to be bothered by the compression.
If you habe a bunch of it. Start low and work up in 2 tenths over the chronagrah. And keep us updated on what you get.

I’ve used H4895 with 123’s also. I use Benchmark for the 100’s.

Hornady has data for H4895 under 129gr cup & core bullets.
Start load is 23.0gr
Max is 26.6gr at 2300fps from an 18" barrel
Case: Hornady
Primer: WSR
It doesn't appear under any of their other tested projectile weights.

I don’t know how I missed it before but Sierra has data for it from 85-123 grn. And in fact, they have it only 50 fps slower than TAC and PPV with 100 grain bullets, the 2 fastest powders for that weight class. Interesting.
And I see now Nosler also has data for H4895 and the 129 ABLR.
