Did the Serbians ever adopt the 6.5 Grendel as a military cartridge?
More importantly did they build the M17 in Grendel for export?

The M17 has been in development for several years. It’s believed part of the reason PPU pulled it’s 6.5 Grendel ammo is because they could use it for testing in Serbia. In any event PPU has released a new brass case with small rifle primers and is to be imported into the USA. Here is a link to the thread about the M17 in the Military & LE section in this forum.

That is what I was looking for. The most recent info on the M17 project. Sad it is still inconclusive.
