You mean to say that grizzly bears have returned to lands from which they were previously forced out of? Lolo Hot Springs is certainly within grizzly range. You might not have seen them there before, but they used to be there.

The Flat head indians didn't like them too much either. They were a plains animal. But with that thought, we should export Grizzlies, wolves and bison to Texas and let them roam around peoples yards, school yards and homes, since that was also original Grizzly habitat...

I?ve heard of sightings in Colorado. There was a very reliable sighting of a 3 year old, last years cub kickout, just east of Johnson Creek Campground in west central Idaho when I was camped out there about 4-5 years ago. The wolves have already done a number on the game herds there in Idaho, so, it only seems reasonable, they?ll have to greatly expand their their range to find enough food. Another unintended consequence of the reintroduction of the wolf. But I digress...............
