Im just blown away at a company such as howa... there are no mags to be found.... I just assumed when I bought this rifle, thats been in production for years... that I'd be able to atleast order one of their bullsh*t 5 round only mags online somewhere....
This really makes me feel like I should have just got the Ruger.

Dude they import them. Supply runs out sometimes before the next shipment get to the states.
Try calling legacy tommorw when they open.

Do you mean HOWA 6.5G mags are not available?
I am looking into a HOWA build based on the mini-action using factory mags and an MDT LSS Gen 2 Chassis. I guess this goes on hold until mags are available.
Are 10rd rd mags available as well?
PS - I still dream of a Ruger RPR in 6.5G with a 20" barrel......

Given that there's been some amount of variation in Mini magazines - enough to cause problems trying to make them all work in some of the aftermarket stocks - I'd sure like to see better quality mags on the market. Maybe (probably wishful thinking) Howa is working on that issue and that's why there's a shortage currently?? I've had excellent results with Magpul AR15 magazines in my ARs - I'd bet it'd be a good thing if they decided to jump into the market with much-improved mags for our Mini rifles.

You are dreaming...Magpul is about volume...some of those magazine molds cost $50k. How many Howa owners are going to buy enough mags for Magpul to recoup their initial set up costs?

I have no idea how many Mini rifles & bbl'd actions LSI has sold over the past 4-5yrs, nor do I have a clue as to how many owners would buy better mags. Sure, I'm dreaming, but since when is that a sin? We do surely NEED better magazines, whether we get them from MDT or Magpul. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, so the more online noise Mini owners make, the better the chances of someone (maybe even Magpul) making mags to address the need.
