Another Prayer Request - 1075 tech - 03-06-2019
I would ask those of you so inclined to say a prayer for my mother. She's 86. The last several weeks she has had a decline in her alertness. I spoke with her on Saturday and she sounded very tired. I had her husband (88)(not my father) call an ambulance for her to have her checked out at the hospital.
She's currently in ICU on a ventilator. She has many medical problems ongoing. She is still undergoing tests and the doctors still don't have diagnosis yet.
I have the flu and won't be able to make the 3 hr trip to see her until Saturday.
I would just ask for comfort and rest for her and her husband, and wisdom and guidance for the doctors.

I just wanted to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers, I believe it's working.
I was able to visit her yesterday. For most of the day. They extubated her yesterday late morning. This was the second time as they had done it on Thursday but had to re intubate a few hours later.
She was much improved. She was talking and even cracking some jokes. She was still doing well when I had to leave that evening.
I spoke with her nurse this morning and she did well through the night. We are cautiously optimistic that she has turned the corner, but we know she still has a long road ahead.
I still have not been able to talk to the doctor but so far, all her tests and scans have been negative. They just don't know what really caused her issue.
Again, I really appreciate you all. Thank you.

I just wanted to thank you all again for your thoughts and prayers. Mom is out of the hospital and into rehab to get her strength back. The last we spoke with the doctors, they still don't really know what happened.

For those of you who have remembered and prayed for my mother, thank you. Mom passed away Sunday night. She was able to be in her home up until about two months ago. For that I am thankful. I got to see her Thursday and my sister had visited and talked to her just a few hours before she passed.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev 21:4
