I am one step closer to giving a full review. I just got a shipping email by BSF for my barrel. Just to give a time line, I ordered it a month ago, I emailed them about a day or two after placing my order and I am now guessing BSF is caught up on their backlog or my barrel came up on the chopping block. Either way I am excited!! It is like Christmas in the summer!!

UPDATE! I am suppose to be getting my barrel today! It is currently out for delivery and should arrive around 8pm central. For anyone following this thread, I'll post photos as of the barrel as soon as I get my hands on it. Hopefully I can get everything mounted this weekend, if not then for sure next week.

Hey y'all,
I got my barrel, and I decided to rattle can my handguard and try to get as close to FDE as possible. If I don't quite get there, then the gun becomes uniquely me and I'll be happy either way.
Here is a photo of the barrel, the handguard is drying before I clear coat it to finish it off.

Here is the end result of my handguard, one side came out a little bit more brown than the other side. Overall, I am happy with it though,

Yes, I am giddy with joy how everything is turning out, I have a day trip to San Angelo, Tx (for anyone who knows where that is) tomorrow if you or anyone else is in the area. I am more than happy to meet and greet a fellow horde member and "talk turkey" with them.

Whelp I've got bad news, my original handguard ran into clearance issues with my gas block, so I picked up a FDE Odin works instead, I'll be keeping the stngr for the time being. The Odin cleared the gasblock just fine when test fitted and was just as light. The parts are currently getting installed and I should be shooting by tomorrow. The plan is to break the barrel in using Federal's 90gr Speer TNT offering and then group test using hornady 123 ELD-M and federal gold medal match 130gr Berger
