The 2017 CA Legislative Year has closed so what did they accomplish during this year in Sacramento?
This is the progressive Democrats’ continued destruction of California. The ones who would not endorse Dianne Feinstein, because she is not sufficiently Socialist extreme.
By the way, Commiefornia is already deemed the worst state for businesses. Here are some of the highlights :
* Passed Cap-n-Trade Tax which will increase gas 0.63 to 0.93 cents a gallon change and the taxes that go with it. So do the math projection..... (0.12 + 0.63 = 075/gallon + current $3.10/gallon = $3.85/gallon)
* Proposed increase on a new tax every residence will pay for tap water!
* A $3.46B parks bond to pay for parks in "disadvantaged communities". The debt service alone will be over $200 million a year.
* Law to release any lifer (murder, rape , child molestation, etc.) who is 60 years old and has already spent 25 years in prison! Charles Manson would have qualified if he just waited a few months before dying; and the Melendez brothers that murdered their parents could be released in about 12 years? Victims?... What victims?
* A new $ 50 charge on all residents living in a mobile home parks to address “living condition enforcement” in those parks? What the hell does that mean? As if having to live in a mobile home park isn’t bad enough? Regressive tax on the poor?
* Requires Tesla to either unionize with the United Auto Workers Union, or forfeit State incentives to buy their electric cars! Maybe political blackmail doesn’t count as breaking any law. Unions are loving it. “Watch out solar companies... They may be coming after you next!!!”
* Reduce from a felony to a misdemeanor the purposeful intent to transmit the AIDS virus to a unknowing partner
* Give preferential treatment to prisoners convicted of serious crimes that are less than 25 years old because their brains are not mature enough to understand right from wrong. Whaaat?
* A bill to require true sex be omitted from drivers licenses? Whaaat?
* Free legal services for illegal immigrants... Of course!
* Establish safe "injection zones" run by government to oversee people injecting heroin!
Yep, it all passed! If I were a resident in this insane workers paradise, I would run, not walk out of there.

Yup When I left the day I crossed the AZ border every firearm I had in the moving van was a felony to have in CA, I crossed the border and took a couple out a unloaded a 125 rnd drum into the desert sand in front of an AZ trooper. Not a word from him. Bet he sees that shit all the time.

This is the one that actually gets me the most since chances are that that tap water comes from my back yard. Whenever i'm in the woods, I relieve myself directly into a stream knowing there's a good chance it will make it SoCal.

I was in Denver in '71 for a while. There were billboards, posters and bumper stickers all over....."Don't Californiaze Colorado".....Didn't take long. I hear Boulder is about as liberal as San Fran.

I'm certain that all regions and states have their ills that we might normally associate with CA's political silliness, and that some CA residents view the ongoing politics in CA with considerable disdain. So, I'm not painting everyone the same color. But Idaho is growing leaps and bounds, and some believe this is largely because of CA transplants.
NJ is actually the only state with a law mandating that only gas station attendants can pump gas 24/7. Oregon has loosened their law regarding this.

I personally know a lot of California refugees who have moved to Idaho. Every last one of them is a Political and Tax refugee. They may be responsible for home prices climbing, and adding kids to schools and cars on the road, but they’re absolutely not bringing CALIFORNIA attitudes and liberal votes with them.
The ones who moved to Colorado, Oregon, and Austin, maybe, but not Idaho. They chose Idaho specifically because it is Conservative.
