I have purposely not talked about things like this for a reason, even though it supports my positions on 2A and basic human rights.
Since the kids nowadays have been dumbed down so much, from a generation of teachers who were dumbed down by the previous one, and so forth, kids don't really think about it much because the media has programmed to think that the best way to beat the last body count is with a firearm instead of commonly-available items.
Since the sciences have been converted into sex ed, gender studies, alternate lifestyles as a norm, kids know next to nothing about science, math, or chemistry.
My dad's generation after the Sputnik bump got a heavy dose of math, physics, chemistry, and science, with full access to chemistry sets, nitric and sulfuric acids, classroom manufacture of high explosives, etc. Most of the teachers nowadays wouldn't even know what you're talking about because they received a mind-numbing 12 years of mental degradation.
