shot another doe yesterday evening this was my longest kill with my grendel to date shot was 302 yards preformed flawlessly.

Pics? Where did you aim, and where was the point of impact? What range are you zeroed at?

no pics it started poring rain. shot her quartering to me in between left front shoulder and middle of the chest, took out top of heart and compleatly destroyed the right lung she ran about 100 yds. i am zeroed at 100 yds. it was right at dark didnt have time to adjust scope to correct MOA so i just aimed at top of her neck where the neck and body meet.

302 yards! Deadly perfect placment of just enough bullet in poor lighting conditions after a day of hunting! I call that kind of shooter a RIFLEMAN. A 375 H&H would have done as well but I call that kind of shot overkill. A .22 mag or a.223 might have done as well also but I call that kina kill Luck. Rifleman hunt with the Grendel. Save any luck you may have to find a buck next time stay with the grendel to pratice yuor art of the rile!

thanks to all, i need to kill a few more does off my place i have been managing it for about 7 yrs now and have some really huge bucks just havent gotton a chance at one this year. YET! i still have about a month left in the season so we will see about the buck, but if not look out does. LOL im going to try and take one a little farther and see how the amax preforms i have a couple fields that are pretty big so i am going to set up a couple of shots one at 400 and one at 500 so we will see what happens. i will keep you all posted.
