I had a Grey Wolf at 75 yards today and got him in the scope but no shot. He was black and charcoal colored. I knew they were fast but holy crap. I caught him soaking up some sun rays in a clearcut. Actually he caught me on the skid trail while he was soaking up the rays when the adventure began. I was kind of surprised when I saw him and hesitated which probably cost me the shot. Its not everyday you have one of those standing in front of you!

There are different ways to attach cameras to your scope, with tutorials all over the place. Not sure how that works with sighting, but images of the Land Warrior weapon camera come to mind...rigged to the helmet-mounted display.

We are now allowed 2 over the counter tags per year. Some units have quotas and other units are open for unlimited. As of right now only 169 have been reported to fish and game since season opened last september. They are a very smart animal and hard to harvest. Montana also has a season.

I did this with my gopro helmet cam this last archery season. I attached it to the front on my bow and captured the six point bull I harvested on video! Not the best video since I shot him at 12 yards and it looks like 25 throught the camera plus the sound is not the best. You can here him bugleing but you have to have the volume turned up.

Alot of people have been using those tiny cameras that the snow boarders and sky divers have been using. They are about half the size of a pack of cigarettes. They have been making decent gun cams. You just have to get a little creative with the mounting. I saw on one of the gun forums where a guy took one and epoxied it to a picatinny mount and mounted it on a rail.
