Ive got a handful of questions and hope I can get some answers from the experts on here....
-Whats the difference between the 6mmAR and the 243LBC?
- Is the one easier to load for than the other?
- Can a Grendel case be resized easily with a different bushing in a 6.5grendel die from Hornady and then just use a 243 bullet seating die?
- Who makes the 6mmAR barrels?
And lastly....
Does anyone on here have comparison info between the 2?? Im looking for the simplest way to run a 6mm Grendel variant. Thats why all the questions. Thanks very much in advance for everything.

I "believe" that the only difference is that Columbia River / BHW's 243 LBC uses the 0.125" bolt face depth vs the Horde preferred 0.136". Don't hold me too that - I would call them to confirm. McGowan is the only other barrel manufacturer I could find without having to get a gunsmith involved. I went with them since they would do a 26" with an XL gas port, 1:7 twist and said they would headspace to my (Monster) bolt when I asked what boltface depth they used. They were doing the 15% off and BHW hadn't started their 30% off.
A 6.5 Grendel bushing die will do the sizing job and a 6mm PPC seater will do the trick.
AR15 Performance is one of the other options out there, but they won't have any barrels until the Spring.

Thanks very much for the info!! I Ill contact ARP and research McGowan and BHW too. It seems like for ease of use the BHW barrel option might be the easiest way to go for getting a barrel. I just want to make sure their 243LBC is the same as far as ease of reloading that the 6mmAR is with essentially just having to resize the Grendel case down to a 6mm and no fire forming or anything extra involved.
