New Gas Piston builds - jkingrph - 03-16-2011
Well sorta new. I built them last year while the old board was down. Both use the Adams Arms piston units and run like a dream, and both use Alexander Arms barrels
The first a 16" middy to match one in .223 I made up for my wife, has DD Lite rail, Troy battle sights, Magpul UBR stock, and Aimpoint ML3 with Burris triplexer in Larue mounts, Rock River 2 stage trigger.
The second is a 24" rifle, DD Lite rail, Troy battle sights, Magpul PRSstock. Leupold 4x16 AR scope in BOBO mount and Gisselle trigger, Duracoted in foliage green, for lower, handgrip and stock.
My first was an AA Overwatch upper on a RR lower, as are all, this one with a Jewell trigger. and Magpul prs stock.
The weather is getting nicer so I am planning on getting out to shoot some more.
