Would a Magpul Moe hand guard be compatible with a 6.5 Grendel barrel? I know this is probably a stupid question, but I don't know the answer and it would help a lot if anyone here was able to tell me.

Handguard compatability is not caliber related. What you need is outside configuration, diameter of barrel compared to internal
demenisions of handgard... You could have say a 5.56, 6.5 Grendel, 6.8 SOC or 50 Beowuld barrel with same external deminsions which depending on barrel weight, external diameter, may or may not fit the handguard desired.
If the barrel is mil spec size it should work.

I have the mid length MOE handguard on my AA 16" Tactical upper.
