It's an interesting concept. Before retiring, I worked for several years for one of Trump's advisers on energy issues. During that time I had a few experiences with government affairs activities and saw one of my ideas introduced as a bill. It didn't gain much ground in the existing administration.
My one trip to Washington showed me that it is in fact a very deep and very extensive swamp and I'm not sure I'd like to stick a foot into it.
That said, you've got me thinking, but it's pretty hard to think about moving that far out of one's comfort zone.
