I put this rifle together to shoot some Designated Marksman matches here in the Carolina's. We shoot 1-2 MOA steel out to 600 yards on the clock from several positions, vehicles off of props etc. The Grendel is perfect for this application.

SDE trigger
Harris bipod
Aadland scope mount
Bushnell 3.5-21 DMR
I'm shooting factory 123 Amaxes at 2565 FPS.

Welcome aboard. The AR15 in 6.5 Grendel definitely is great for shooting positions on the clock.

The barrel is 24", and consistently shoots sub MOA.
