Feed Ramps - ironhorse18 - 10-23-2015 Got a quick question. Finally have all the parts and pieces collected for the final assembly of my .264 LBC. My question regards the preparation of the feed ramps. Of course the barrel extension came with standard M-4 ramps. What do you recommend as prepping, polishing or reshaping of the ramps before firing? By the way, BHW barrel. Thanks much, ironhorse18 Feed Ramps - LRRPF52 - 10-23-2015 Most people don't do anything. I personally de-edge, blend and polish all my ramps so the brass gets babied, and meplats from BTHP's like many of the target bullets have no way of getting stuck or shorn on the transition from the upper to the extension.
