5.56 Timeline - LRRPF52 - 10-21-2015
If you all haven't seen this, and are students of the AR15 like me, I can't recommend this enough, in addition to The Black Rifle Volume I.
This was put together by D. Watters. I've referenced it for many years now, and it's a historical look at the timeline that led to the adoption and continual development of the 5.56 cartridge, as well as the AR15 and other systems along the way.
The timeline starts much earlier than you might have expected.
