It's to be -30 below , in the evening temps here all wknd. Plus the windchill=60-70 below zero.
Bone snapping cold. True marines are born from this latitude-attitude. Cry baby whaaaaaa! Do as I do, = go out and fire up the BBQ pit. Smog some ribs-etc.
Back to the masterpiece. Is it - the ceracoat- cooked in the garage>/? Cold out your way also. big nipp weather here too.

One question, I see a PMag in the picture. Did you adapt it for the Grendel, or was that just what was available for the pictures? Again, very, very nice looking.
I hunted with my Grendel this year and loved it. I had a green upper, black lower, otherwise FDE equipment. Pretty ugly. Just painted it all FDE with Brownells Alumihide II. I'll put up some pictures soon.

Cool Axe, any idea where I could get one? Hows it attached to your Ruck? Did you have the Ruck Modified? I had mine Mod'd by Tactical Tailor back in 09 and then decided to buy a Mystery Ranch instead.

I had one of my rucks modified by Logan Coffey himself back in 1997. Still have it. Need to take some pics of that old beast. It has SOP's sewn to it from 2 different Scout Platoons, LRS, and my own additions.

I just kept watching and when it went on sale from a Prime Shipper at $124.99 I bought.
My ruck has two loops that look like they were designed for holding it.

Mystery Ranch makes great stuff. I may upgrade to one eventually.

This was one of my favorite 20" AR15 configurations to work on and shoot.
Everything is balanced nicely with the Magpul ACS, and this rifle shoots amazingly well, to the point that ringing the IPSC flagger at 700yds at Boomershoot was boring.
