Don't have any factory ammo to shoot unfortunately.so everything will b handloads won't b for a week or so gotta order some parts to fix the cycling issues I'm running the h2 buffer and spring from my 20" currently and it short strokes unsuppressed but cycles fine suppressed. Need to swap in a std buffer n spring n see what happens . If that fixes it good if not I'm going low masss bcg and adjustable gas key

Have you checked that your gas port was drilled properly? I had a 26" R+2 Mcgowan 6 Gr that short stroked. Drove me crazy. Started with a JP LMOS carrier and added a reduced power spring and low mass buffer in it. Didn't solve it. When doing an autopsy down the road, it turned out that the gas port wasn't drilled all the way through. Looked fine up top but the bit never broke fully through and the hole was half the size it should have been on the bore side. Worth checking before spending.
Edit add: A little bit bigger gas port (if yours is drilled correctly) can always solve the problem to. You can always dial back a port with a AGB.

the performance out of this thing is unreal though , right now im just testing with my pet loads for the 20" but i deff have room to push harder , my lr target creedmoor may go bye bye now im pretty sure i can outpace what ive been able to achieve in my ar10 creed with this 28 gren , as of right now im just behind in fps from the creed i expect the barrel to pick up a lil more spee as i finish breaking it in , and i come up on the loads alil more

Mel,
what bbl length on the AR10 creed' ?
as you most likely know, SAAMI max pressure spec on the GR will not flatten primers, so proceed cautiously with trying to turn the GR into the 6.5-300 Wby.
with the long tube and the suppressor, i suspect muzzle report is modest at best. kind of cool to think about.

22" on my target creed
im 50-100fps behind my cm currently in the 130/135/140g class bullets , matching cm velocitys with 90's , and 125fps behind my cm with the 123g class with my pet 20" loads which isnt suprising as 123's have been the outliers as far as speed curve per bullet wieght out of the 20
its quiet af , even with just the brake on the end the concusion isnt bad at all , my 20 and brake will hurt ur ears
once the weather gets a lil bit warmer here in a week ill do some chrono testing with pics and vids , it was 30* out today so i wasnt logging info or taking pics of chrono for my records just wanted to get some numbers and ge some rounds down the barrel to break it in

ended up grabbing a kak buffer set 2.6 , 2.2 and 1.7 oz buffers , i think the 2.6oz buffer will do the trick for getting this to cycle reliably unsupressed

ive got a new lower on the way to build a dedicated lower for the 28 and a bunch of other parts comming as well , im going to build this out with a strike industries fixed stock with mono pod , rtb low mass carrier, rtb adj gas key ,jp low mass buffer spring, another timbercreek alumimnum grip , sandors armory bolt , last thing i need to decide on is a trigger , im either going to do another jmt adjustable with stright shoe , or i found an elf 1.5# trigger i may try.last but not least i got a new ported endcap for the can to try out
everything but the low mass carrier and spring has shipped and should be here end of week or monday

for reliable cycling rifle doesnt cycle unsupressed and supressed is even hit or miss with 123g and down class bullets , i really wanna do some lr pest control this year with 107's with it
it is damn quite the 10/22 takedown i shoot is louder lol, if clipped the baffles in the can it would get even quieter

will be xmas for me on monday all my new parts will finish arriving really cant wait to dial in the low mass system and get that new stock on and try out the mono pod and soo how i like it , unfortunatly for me my new ported endcap for my can is wrong i mistaken ordered it in 24 tpi instead of 20 tpi not a big deal do have the correct endcap on the way though
