As stated, measuring brass is not the way to determine if the changer is oversized although it CAN be an indicator. As mentioned, oversized brass can be the result of several other root causes, meaning, brass can be "over saami while the chamber is in spec. Measuring the chamber is the only way to truly know if it is in spec.
If the barrel is truly out of spec, it's not only sad to see that happen from a company that is known to be a top choice, but then to respond to you that slowly and get that end result.
This will definitely stick in my head the next time I'm barrel shopping.
I hope he makes it right.

In time, be it I get my barrel back, or it gets trashed at lilja there will be a long write up about it on accurate shooter with emails expressing my concerns and his reply. Many many people are on there everyday. If I can get 1 person to go a different route on a barrel instead of lilja I will feel some satisfaction

I have been thinking about this for a week or so now. I apologize if you think I dismissed your concerns, I should not have done that. I can see why youd have some apprehension in shooting this barrel with it leaving marks like that on the brass. While we disagree with chamber dimensions, I shouldnt have dismissed that so quickly.
I will send you a refund check for the full amount or your invoice. I cant imagine you will be ordering from me again, so if I dont hear from you again, I hope you find the barrel you are looking for.

That is a professional resolution, including the diplomatic last sentence.
The Lilja family have made good on their customer recovery policies in the past. This includes the first Group-buy compound throat issue. I declined their return offer at the time because I got what I paid for - It's a sub-MOA hummer.

Wow, good to see! I wish they would have tested the barrel and just replaced it. But they came through in the end so good on them. Lemons do happen to even awesome barrel makers.

Although I cant believe that they wont admit that the chamber may have been cut a out of spec. Not to mention the long wait for taking care of this situation.
I have never owned a Lilja barrel, but always thought they were one of the best.

I have an AR740 from that group buy. It's also shoots sub-minute. My Lilja in 6ARC from Rebby shoots just as well.
Glad to see this resolution. I will continue to be a Lilja customer.

Mine shot great. I just have a bad taste in my mouth now. 1 it took way to long, they recieved it on March 3rd, and 2 he did get a little bit on the snippy side with me on the phone and was going to ship it back to me. As Klem stated earlier on it should have been a refund or a direct replacement shortly after they received it and he determined the chamber was on the large side. In the very end I guess after he stewed on it for a week he decides to refund my money. That is the best outcome. I had rather had another lilja barrel chambered correctly after they recieved it weeks ago. I guess now Ill be driving you guys crazy over what barrel to purchase now.
