We went back to the house to warm up. the wife has made hot coffee and sandwiches... we had a good lunch. After that Travis wanted to shoot my SR-25 ....

After that the neighbor came over to complain that we were "shooting onto his property" , that he had seen a branch come off a tree and he assured me it was from our shooting.... but it was getting late and we were cold and wet and so we decided to call it a day. I will improve my back stop next week just to be on the safe side.

Other than the neighbor and the cold and rain, we had a great time.

I even traded with Travis and got to keep his SIG 556!!!

WOW, just read the entire thread. Sorry I missed out on this. Just finished up my Grendel right before Christmas and found this forum about a week ago. Grendel-Gene, make sure to put me in your list of Dallas area guys as I am a Dallas local. Not a problem for me to make the drive to your location and carry an arm full of firearms. Hell, I will even bring transportation for running back and forth from the firing line to the targets.

near the top of the page it should say Community. go there and select Groups. Then, you have the choice to join the Texas group among others.
