OK, finally tracked down a pound of 2520. I think I will get my hands on some 120 grain Hornady CX and test them with 2520 and CFE 223. Hornady says these expand down to 1800FPS, so if I can push them to 2500FPS from my 20" barrel I should have a good, usable load.

I havent had any surprises substituting Lever for CFE 223 data in the Grendel. Its going to be hard to beat Lever for velocity with the 120-123 class bullets. And I always get way better ES/SD spreads with Lever vs CFE 223!
Having said that, I always work up from 5-7.5% below max charge when substituting! Starting too low can be just as big a problem, too little and the powder doesnt burn, it detonates!
