Once again, peaceful protesters do not break laws like criminal trespass. Since you wish to keep repeating the mantra of peaceful protesters instead of a threatening trespassing mob of 500, perhaps they were peaceful after they realized they were being confronted by a loaded AR-15. Like I stated many, many times before Stan, we will have to see if they will be convicted and punished in a court of law, to see if they were in the wrong...Then we can argue if the DA did it for political reasons LOL......

McCloskey is a proven liar. I wouldn't take his word for anything.

Peaceful means non-violent. It does not mean that no laws are broken.

The majority of the protesters continued peacefully on their way to the mayor's residence, and did not commit any violent acts even though they were far out of range of McCloskey.

Stanc,one of the pictures you posted clearly shows the gate on the right side busted.The whole top of the gate is hanging on the inside.
McCloskey is still one of us. A gun owner. And I will side with him before I side with liberal scum trespassers.I still think he had the right arm himshelf.Because an uninvited large mob trespassing through your gated community looks threatening.
However, I wouldve done things differently.I wouldve been upstairs behind the slider leading to that balcony. I wouldve had my AR rifles and magazines ready to go.I probably wouldnt want to be seen or let them know I had weapons, I like the element of surprise on my side.I wouldve waited for the crowd to make a move,while praying they wouldnt (lol). I know the law, too well.When I aim a gun at someone, its the last thing theyre going to see.
I dont agree with the way McCloskey handled it, because if things were set off, he wouldve been bum rushed and killed. Although he may have shot a couple first.The McCloskeys obviously dont know much about self-defense with and weapons.
The horde has beat this subject to death.And at this point, it doesnt matter who is right or wrong.Because,I really dont think anyones going to get convicted. I do however think that the McCloskey should sign themselves up for gun safty and weapon self defense.Because ,if the situation had escalated the McCloskeys would have perished.

The gate was obviously not broken down by the protesters to gain entry. It may well be that McCloskey tore down the gate, to support his lie that the protesters did it.

- They drew the attention of the protesters, who originally had no interest in the McCloskeys.
- They needlessly escalated the situation by yelling at and threatening to shoot the protesters.
- They were tactically unwise, presenting themselves as large, fully-exposed, stationary targets.
- And she was incredibly dumb, going down to little more than arm's length from the protesters.
