I really liked the Banderas area when I was there. I'd have to see what is available there if possible.
I spent some time out there regaining my sanity while at Lackland. I helped mend fence at the "Brighter Days" horse refuge, and went to an awesome chili contest. Those were exceptional folk that I met in that area.

Cory, some of my ancestors came from Alabama.... Clarke County. I am related to the very last governor before the war for Southern Independence, Thomas H. Watts.

Somebody with clout and the public's ear would have to call for it (cough... NRA... cough...), but if we can't get people to show up for one day then we are truly lost anyway. It's that fundamental, and that deadly serious.
People chant "from their cold dead hands", but if their live feet couldn't show up to survive a peaceful day of protest because of losing a couple days of work, then their live hands certainly lack the resolve to do anything more than whine and complain while typing on the internet.
Think about this: "I'm willing to die for it, but I couldn't miss a couple days of work to avoid it"...
Please don't anyone reading this take it wrong, I'm not disparaging anyone. I AM saying this--- I'd rather lose a little money and stop this peacefully while there is a chance, than lose my life and possibly my families life as well because of inconvenience (?!?!?!?!?!). Watching the greatest country on earth spiral off into a civil war, that could take our lives, would be far more inconvenient than showing up to a protest! I guess it could be seen as a national "gut-check".

Now that's something to be proud off, being related to a politician now that's another story. HAHA Just kidding, but seriously we need a few men with the fortitude men like he had, men like the patriots who signed the Deceleration of Independence had.
