That mv with a 99gr Hammer doesnt seem out of the ordinary for a 22 AR-15 using AA2520.
On Hammers load data page for the 99gr Hammer Hunter in 6.5 Grendel, they list 24 velocities in the 2850-3000fps region.
Yeah it probably is safe. But I havent tested it adequately to confirm. Other obligations in life get in the way.

Agreed. Ive taken about seven deer with the Grendel, both the bolt gun and AR. All one shot kills. Next to no recoil. Minimal blast. For years I was an advocate of the hyper 30s. All I was doing was wrecking meat and my shoulder.
