If from a single machine, tolerances are not held for 100 cases at a time. OAL varies, as well, as does primer pocket tension. Lapua is better than other makes of brass in the cartridges I have listed, attribute wise, but not perfect out of the box. Carrier handling, I assume, is also a variable in neck concentricity/roundness, sometimes necks will have flats in the mouths from new boxes of Lapua. Great brass, but not perfect out of the box if you want accuracy.

As I think I mentioned earlier, I definitely noticed neck tension differences in a new box of Lapua 223 Match brass. The difference disappeared after the first use and resizing.

Maybe I'm ocd, but I run them through seating twice. Seat, 1/4 turn seat again. I think it helps with concentricity but never measured. Doesn't hurt and it makes me feel like I know what I'm doing (it's fun to pretend sometimes)
I'll run them twice through a taper crimp die as well.

As Zene does, I seat half way, quick spin of the case 180-degrees and finish the seat. This trick is not new, as shooters try to eliminate any run-out in the process.

Whether theres any advantages to it or not, I do exactly as klem stated. Been that way for a good 30 years. Something my dad taught me long ago.

Run it through your sizing die to take out any dents in the necks from shipping, chamfer the neck, prime, load, blast.
I do not think you will notice a thing if you turn the cartridge a quarter turn and run it up into the seating die after you have already seated but if you want, go for it. Certainly won't hurt anything.

Don't mean to derail, but how would you square something turning it 180 degrees? My brain is too slow to understand why not 90, or 270. You will be along the same axis at 180 so correction for lateral deviation isn't established. If I were setting a fence post blah blah blah

Fair question...my thoughts are if you seat and the seater-cone is not exactly square to the neck-axis then a situation could be the bullet starts seating according to the axis of the cone. Rather than allow the cone to bias the seat you spin to give the same force in exactly the opposite direction...Just a theory, but as it takes no time and effort to quickly spin half way through its peace of mind.
I use Lee collet dies to neck size in other calibres. For a similar reason I spin the case 45-degrees and size again. The collet is divided into 4 sections so it's just a habit to spin so the gaps between the collet sections are gripping evenly. Again, just a theory and little effort for peace of mind.
