There are too many gigantic problems with your scenarios. Such as the role of our federal forces and National Guard in all of this. And the states and counties where the State and local governments will refuse to oppress the citizens. Hell, I cant imagine the gang bangers in L.A. allowing some troops from the UN to order them around. And if the population in your county or parish or what ever allows imported rioters and looters to destroy your town or city -- it is a lick on you.
So, give some thought to this and come back with something that is just a bit more probable.

I fervently pray that you are right and I am completely wrong. I thought the deep state was improbable at first, then came IRS Lois Learner gate, FBI corruption, Justice Department corruption, State department corruption, Voting integrity corruption, attempted coup of duly elected president, false impeachment, court corruption.
The corruption was vast beyond belief. Suspect there is corruption in the armed forces as well.
Did you see the reports of Chinese troops doing cold weather training in Canada?

Anytime someone starts a response with "I pray you are right", it means they do not believe a bit of what I said. The Canadians were going to sponsor some CHICOM troops for some cold weather training. Nothing said about how many and the Canadian government stopped it because the CHICOMs have held two of their citizens in prison in China for a couple of years. So, the Canadians cancelled the training and no, the Chicoms haven't invaded through Northern Maine.
So, come up with some probable scenarios for your local area. Northern Utah? I wonder how many Mormons will allow themselves to be religiously and politically oppressed?

I stand by I pray you are right. I am a pretty lazy type of fellow getting up there in age and declining physical condition. The amount of work, time and money it would take to participate in any sort of organized defense has no appeal, let alone the abhorrent concept of having to fight against fellow Americans.
A study of the "Mormon" history would show you how many times violent mobs have driven them from their homes. Not saying it wouldn't be different this time, just not a history of victory.

The Red Dawn scenario is not a real one IMO. What is more likely to happen, "is a push for more repressive gun control under the excuse of another mass shooting" that can be exploited. Perception, "not reality" works with the bread and circuses type subjects AKA (dems) and presstitutes.. The infrastructure that supports AR and other type rifles will wither and die on the vine, since the once legal product is now verboden. The shooting community and industry, "will then focus on bolt action, shot guns, revolvers, etc," that will be considered legal and common sense. If the dems get control of the senate, then this will become a reality. The gov won't go door to door to get them, but will get a few hold outs when they get caught with them during a traffic stop, self defence shootings, a friend or relative quietly informs on them, overly out spoken on social media, etc. The contraband will go under ground, where they will not be used for hunting, training or competition...There are pro gun groups that are starting to get attorneys and ways to fight these unconstitutional laws, since there are still pro gun judges still in the court system. That is, until the left stacks the courts...

I want to make one last pitch for peoplesrights as a grassroots group worthy of consideration. Trying to build an effective way to make a difference in our communities, State and Country in protecting ourselves and our natural rights from present and unforeseen events or threats is no small task.
I am in no way preaching or blowing smoke up anyones britches, when I say there are many outstanding leaders and proud Americans from all over the country on this site whose good neighbors need them. I know many contribute in those capacities in various forms already. A number here have served in this Nations Armed Forces. My contributions and experience pale in comparison to so many here.
Regardless of what you may think about a group associated with Ammon Bundy (I personally know several that take a negative view of the Bundys as law breakers), this isn't about them.
Let me just say this. Your neighbors, spread across your counties and regions, need your help in making peoplesrights about us, the people and organized protection of our rights. I dont know how effective or how large an influence pr's will become. I know it will be percieved by many and deamonized as the evil militia, racist white supremacists, nazis, ad naseum. You will first need to live in a pro gun state, county or community. If the sheriffs department will publicly up hold the 2ndA, then this form of group will have a chance. If not, it would be self destructive to believe anything else. Look at Seattle if you need to understand how the rule of law will disintegrate because of political leftist ideology. A community that will not support gun grabs, is the way we can stop this. The left defies laws all the time in Commiefornia and other leftist heck holes across the nation. Unfortunately gun "rights" groups, are going to have to willing put themselves out of business. Meaning their objective is to finish their mission statement which should be:
Constitutional Carry
Reciprocity
Ridding ourselves of the Hughes Amendment
And TO ABOLISH THE ATF!
Unfortunately, what happens is that certain characters like the money and donations, coming in and treat their organizations like a personal piggy bank. In doing so they will sabotage, backstab, imbed the themselves in positions of power for decades and fundamentally take issues that hurt gun rights, so that they will stay in business forever. They know full well once the 2A is restored they are out of a windfall of cash!
In the meantime an emphasis on the 2A being a civil right especially in the inner cities which have to deal with basically ZERO gun rights, that is where some money should be spent. One only has to call Leftist policies in their absence of any 2A policies as RACIST! Use the defunding the Police movement to our advantage as a Police State, is unnecessary with a well armed populace! Also in rural areas that are RED, but live in Blue States whose policies are dominated by large leftist cities, they should establish 2nd Amendment SANCTUARY STATUS! We have to grow our ranks and we need more than just the same old same old! It has happened with women, they are everywhere in gun shops, ranges and training classes! Once we win over the majority with common sense tactics we can gain some 2A victories! With strong 2A objectives and KNOWING that NATURAL RIGHTS are a thing, other political and economical objectives will be met as well, they go hand in hand! It has to go grassroots; bring it up in churches, bars, and gatherings! Unfortunately there are very few in government yo help, we have to force them to take it up by not electing false prophets, AKA RINO's!

As taking up arms should be the last remedy after all else has failed, it would be of benefit to examine the steps that should be taken before it comes to that. I'll list what I can think of, please add to what I've left out.
1. Vote for candidates who support the constitution and ALL of the bill of rights.
2. Volunteer to be a election monitor.
2. Donate to organizations with a track record of wise use of money that support the 2nd Amendment.
3. Stand up on social media or other public forums, don't be intimidated into silence.
4. Attend marches, rallies and other public displays of the defense of freedom, our country, justice and for like minded public office holders.
5. Be informed of current events, a practical understanding of the law, your rights, history of success and failures.
6. Have non lethal offensive and defensive measures available.
7. Share what you know with those who need help. Be a leader if qualified and none are around.
I admit I need help with number 5 so if you can recommended a site, book or other resources that would be most helpful.

As I have said on my state wide forum, Calguns.net. It HAD to come to this, in California we have dealt with this bullshit for the last 30+ years. People can no longer hide in so called free states. All of our asses are on the line. Biden is going to go full court press on this. That Progressive/Communist **** Harris has been muzzled. But once the ball is rolling, you bet she will chime in.
Its ok to murder babies with abortion, its ok for homosexuals and transvestites to marry or dress up and pretend to be the opposite sex. And the ******* law protects them. But the Second Amendment, ah the Second Amendment, it has to be interpreted with different levels of scrutiny, micro analysis at its best. California lets little boys pee in girls bathrooms, allow illegals to run rampant, releases prisoners early, felonies become misdemeanors, homeless everywhere.
People have mocked, insulted, blamed California residents for years. Even as those of us, belong to the NRA, CRPA, Second Amendment Foundation, and voted against these assholes. The Newsoms the Pelosis, the Harriss, so we are all in the same boat now.

USMC, as a California resident give me your take on why with the misery that the left has caused, why haven't the conservatives been able to prevail there? That is sort of the same question I have about huge groups of people fleeing their home country to come here. "Why don't you fix up your own country. It has plenty of resources."
If it is voter fraud keeping the left in power then that has to be our number one priority, voting integrity. Until that is fixed little will change.

Changing demographics, we are a predominantly Latino State. California also has a huge immigrant population, both legal and illegal. Californias power centers are dominated by Liberals. San Francisco, and Los Angeles. LA and the County have about 1/3 of the States population. So in essence 2 counties dictate what the other 56 do. Another factor is that the State has lost many Republicans to other States, speeding our decline. The old free state argument.
Our economic base has also collapsed, Toyota is gone, Lockheed is gone, we have lost a lot of high paying jobs to export. The companies get tired of being ****** by the state and they leave. Lots of folks want free stuff, and the state is all to willing to provide. That why I have said, there are no free states left. This is the Super Bowl, ALL of us have our butts in the sling. People have laughed, mocked, insulted California residents for years, wont sell legal firearms to us because of the state laws. Those of us that have stayed and fought this crap, we live everyday what the rest of you are about to endure.
Decreasing freedoms year by year, standard magazines gone 2000, shrinking handgun availability due to so called safety roster, 2003. Sell more than 500 rounds a month, you need a vendor license 2016. It goes on and on. What has it done? NOTHING, crime is up because the morons in Sacramento have released tens of thousands criminals from prison. Domestic violence is a misdemeanor! Homeless are everywhere. So as you can see, the issue is very complex. A2
