Thanks for the review! If the the CA magazine ban truly ends up being overturned, I see a few of these in my future. I've been using the 20 round ASC and PMAG bodies blocked to 10 rounds for years, as the size is just so easy to manipulate during reloads without limiting my ability to shoot prone. Would love to get some actual 20 rounders for the 6.5G.

So I'll add my positive experience with Duramags to this review thread versus start another one. I got several of the 10rd and 20rd Duramags at Aim Surplus, good price, quick shipping. I've been running them the last month with my PF upper, been to the range 3 times. The Duramags have been flawless, not a single issue, no FTF, nothing, in 300 rounds. In all transparency, I wasn't having issues with the ASC mags either, but I like the design and build quality of the CPD. Plan to get more.

I grabbed a couple 20s and a 10 rounder from Aim. All feel, Load up good, still need to get out with them.

I noticed Gun Mag Warehouse was stocking the CPD and ASC 6.5 Grendel mags for decent prices. GMW had 20 round CPD mags in stock for a good price.

These just clear the ground with an Atlas Bipod at its lowest setting and stock on the ground in both a carbine setup with adjustable stock and precision setup with a rifle stock. Obviously more clearance with stock bagged. Zero clearance issues on a bench and prone, and nary an issue of getting in the way in a PRS style competition. Last round can be tough to get in, and sometimes a round a few rounds deep will move forward as I'm loading it and the tip will rub the mag making the last few tough to get in with a 2.26 COAL. I'm also able to load 243 LBC with TMKs at a COAL of 2.29" with room to spare. I'll be getting more.
